Default Tenoning jig?

Hi Guys,
has anyone made a tenoning jig to work with the WC2k? I have recently bought a second hand bevel ripping guide and wondered if anyone had made a jig to work with that. I have tried the search facility but didn't come up with anything. I know that the protractor can ride on the top slot of the BRG but But I'm not sure that would be stable enough for cuting accurate tenon cheeks. I have cut tenons in the past with the stock flat on the table and just making a series of cross cuts to nibble the waste away, but that creats a lot of sawdust and noise and is bound to wear out saw and blade more quickly.

cheers

George

Here is a start, just need to create a jig to go with it.

Don't know if he did anything else with the idea.

Growing old is much better than the alternative!

No, I haven't made a tenonning jig for it yet - only because I haven't had a project that needed M&T joints.

When I do, I will make a T-shaped wooden structure with slots which will match the threaded inserts on the "doover" to enable the crosspiece to be perpendicular to the table and to slide along the fence when the "doover" is moved.

For a basic jig all that is needed is a thin stop to ensure that the stock is vertical.

What I would like to do, however, is to make the thing microadjustable, so only a rough setting needs to be made using the fence and then the tenon jig can move towards the blade to get the depth of cut exactly right. That part of the equation is still on the design-board!!!
Cheers

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking about something like this one http://www.highlandwoodworking.com/i...n=Custom&ID=66 from Highland wiidworking. Instead of the inverted "U" shaped section made to ride on the rip fence, I thought about a 1/2" thick strip to ride in the big slot in the BRG and then getting hold of a spare protractor slide strip to go in the "mitre slot" at the top to control the top of the jig. I hope that makes some sense, I wish I had more time to play around with Sketchup and learn how to use it properly, then I could post a picture of what I mean.
