TRA001 availability
Soooo. Last year I was looking at getting a TRA001 for my Triton router table. Didn't have the funds at the time. Just recently checked and they don't seem to have any Australian stockists.
On the Triton site local suppliers half the stuff listed I know don't stock them any more.
Does anybody know of anywhere locally that are still stocking them or are they gone by the wayside. I was really hoping to get above table bit changes and height winder this year, and would rather not have to get a whole new table.

Just Tools & Discount Trader just to mention two. Don't you have Google?
Gifkins to name three.

Do you come here to be rude?
TRA001 is out of stock at the first two sellers. Interestingly, when I Google "Triton TRA001" I don't get Gifkins as a result.
Anyway for the OP, Gifkins have it for $600:
Triton router. Safety features, micro-adjustment, makes box making easy!
But as a TRA001 owner, I don't reckon they are worth $600.

Do you really need a TRA? I have an MOF001 and find it has ample power for what I do. It has all the same features as the bigger one.
If that is all you need there is one here with free delivery.Dallas

That's a good question. I have two TRA's and find they are a bit too heavy for most out of table use. So it might depend on what you are going to use it for.

I was told a couple of weeks ago that Triton had no stock in Australia.

Might be temporary due to lockdown. JustTools appear to be still taking orders for it, even if out of stock..

Are White Industries still the Australian Distributor? I know they were a while ago. Absolutely useless regarding spares though, they said to contact Toolsparesonline in England! You would think there would be some sort of law that they had to keep spares if the were the Australian distributor?

They still advertise Triton but I don't know how current the information is on their site. You can't buy direct from them as when you click on the Buy online button it just redirects to Just Tools.
They also list suppliers local to the OP if he is around Adelaide but could search with a different post code if he isn't.

Yes, I have Google, but unavailable/sold out in the first 3 pages of results. Hence why I thought I would post here in case they had been discontinued either in total or locally and I had missed the memo. As mentioned in the first post I tried the vendor locator on their site however I can tell you for a fact that several of the companies listed do not sell them anymore, which was once again worrying.
Thanks for those sites to follow up, To be honest, in the near future, the MOF001 would probably do me just fine so will keep those in mind.
Could also pay to wait for freight to open up again

Lappa,
Oh it's there, just financially unfeasible to have enforced.
Competition and Consumer Act 2010
Short version:
Competition and Consumer Act 2010
Volume III
Schedule 2
Section 3-2
58 Guarantee as to repairs and spare parts
(1) If:
(a) a person supplies, in trade or commerce, goods to a consumer; and
(b) the supply does not occur by way of sale by auction;
there is a guarantee that the manufacturer of the goods will take reasonable action to ensure that facilities for the repair of the goods, and parts for the goods, are reasonably available for a reasonable period after the goods are supplied.
