    Default TRA001 Router parts

Several years ago a router bit seized in the collet of one on my Triton routers. The bit was stuck so badly that while trying to release it, the collet got damaged where the lock pin engages & the silver coloured aluminium part of the router body actually tore.
I had all intentions of sourcing parts to repair the router and proceeded to take the router apart while taking pics and documenting the process of disassembly.

Time rolled on and I never got around to it as I have another TRA001 that I placed in the table as well as having a good Makita router for other freehand jobs not suited for a table.

While working around the shed today, I spied the box of parts and decided...stuff it..I have 2 routers, don't need to get this one going again.

So if anyone is looking to buy some second hand parts for their TRA001, drop us a line.

The router was working perfectly until the collet seizure

    I am in Brisbane

I'd be interested in the speed controller; my table mounted TRA01 is starting to misbehave a little bit...

    Chief,
I popped down to the shed and took the controller out. I'm a little concerned that the magnet within the controller unit is broken up and I wouldn't like to send it if it starts to play up later down the track.

The donut shaped magnet (in SC 2 pic) receives the cove shaped end of the motor shaft

I’m happy to take the risk; I’d also like the black plastic motor end cover. Mine has cracked away from the mounting screws and is only held on by tape at the moment.

    Chief,
I'll try and get to the shed tomorrow to gather the parts.

The black cover is in good nick. I can throw in the black screws that fix the cover if you've lost yours.

My shed is not at my home, it's in an industrial area nearby.

I'll DM you for any further discussions on the items

Default Spare Parts for TRA001 Router

Hi everyone, I just signed up to this forum and am looking forward to hearing from your collective wisdom.

I just purchased a second hand TRA001 router but it is missing a few bits that I think would be great to track down.

I am after the cover for the large tension spring. (I bet the last owner last saw it flying through his workshop when he removed it!)

I am also after the fence and baseplate.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry skot, could you please private message me with contact details. My account still has restrictions that are making contact difficult?
