    Default Triton 2000 locking pin

Hi all, wondering if anyone knows what this particular part is really called. I'm referring to the pop out pin on the legs of the 2000 model. Yes, I know the Triton parts list name it as a locking pin, but there must be a technical term. Reason I ask is I am trying to source larger versions of these pins (preferably from a supplier in Melbourne). Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I would call them "Spring loaded Locking Pins".

I would also suggest that you will be unlikely to find them as a stand alone item. They would need to work with the appropriate size hole and mating mechanism. You may have to buy separate pins and springs and make it work yourself.

    Regards

I call them detents (used in manuals transmissions). Also known as spring loaded locking pins as Baudy mentioned or spring loaded balls.
Heres a link to an Aussie company with a similar unit

They're called Push Button Spring Snap Clip Locking Tube Pins according to Google. What size and how many are you after??
Contact Miniature Bearings Australia, they might have the size you're looking for.

Did you ever manage to find larger pins? I'm having problem with mine where there's quite a bit of play, resulting in a wobble table. I've seen they're available as parts, eg. Tool Spares Online. LEG LOCKING PIN (EACH) but am assuming they're the same size. Wondering if welding them to the legs on the opposite side of the spring is the best way to reduce wobble.

Edit: I had a second look, and it appears it's the bolts that wobble, not the locking pins! I measured them with my calliper and they are 7.8mm in diameter, am wondering if them being less than 8mm is enough to make them as wobbly as they currently are.
