Thread: Triton saw

To the best of my understanding, White Industries were the last local distributor for Triton and relinquished the agency at the end of June, so it is most likely that anything you do find would be left over stock supplied through them, and support could be a real issue. Triton have had a lot of local distributors since they were gobbled by GMC years ago, and there is generally a reasonable gap between one dropping them and someone else picking them up. Parts support has been very poor for Aus customers for years, it's generally much less frustrating to go directly to the UK for parts etc than try and track them through retailers and distributors, at least the UK guys have most stuff in stock or can access it in days rather than months. Personally, I would look to a decent Mak, Hitachi, De Walt etc that are intended to be industrial tools and have decent support.

Thanks very much for that. I was starting to think along those lines anyway, but that was only going on a hunch that spares/repairs could be an issue, particularly as if I found a saw, it would probably be second hand, and, well.....
