Default New (to me) Triton needs a saw.

    Hi Tritoneers,
I just picked up a Triton 2000 in excellent condition. The cross cut fence still has the original bit of MDF on it and it hasn't been cut through.
I only have a 160mm circ saw so am looking for a decent saw to put in it if anybody has one lying around that they don't use any more.
I've recently reorganised the shed to make room for a new motorbike so all the bigger machinery had to go. I can tuck the Triton away and just drag it out on the odd occassion I need to cut some timber.
I also just purchased a Veritas Dowel Maker Master kit and I need to break down some hardwood to make the dowels. Not really practical with a track saw.
Let me know what you have and how much you want for it. Doesn't have to be flash. Just solid and running true. Would prefer minimal float.
This is not my first Triton. Like a lot of forum members I started out with a Triton many years ago. I started with a Mk3 upgraded to a new 2000 that I used for many years.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

OK, you can all stop looking. I picked up a Hitachi C9 today. In very good condition, for a good price.
Is mounted in the Triton and ready to go.

You will be happy with that. The C9 was the saw of choice before the Triton was released.
