Given the prices gasweld wanted on saturday, yes its still way cheaper even factoring in postage. Besides the eagle said he'd combine postage so it shouldnn't be too bad spread over the number of items we want. I think the eagle is being very reasonable. Besides we haven't seen a number of the items we wanted around our area.

To all,
I am heading up north of Perth for two weeks and as such will be putting the shop into what EBay calls "vacation mode". I have tried to put the trip off but need to do it now before it gets too expensive up there!!
As soon as I'm back I will list the rest of the stock.
Thanks to all,
EagleEagle

Triton / GMC sale
Now we're probably all aware that graysonline are having a bit of a clearance of Triton / GMC at present. If not then have a look. What I take objection to is their apparent double dipping in relation to fees / charges. I'm probably going to get into trouble with them for stating what I'm about to but in reality what they are doing is little more than profiteering.
I recently purchased 1 x Triton 235mm saw. For the privelege i was charged a $13 "handling" fee plus $28 postage ON TOP OF a buyers premium of $36. Now I may be a little naive when it comes to fees and charges but they've charged me for postage (over the normal cost) then charged me for handling / packaging (it arrived in its normal box with an Australia Post e-parcel label on it - must have been expensive to stick that on!) then they have charged me a buyers premium of $36 to cover their selling fees (must be a really expenive web server they have). Total cost was well over and above what I could have paid on e-bay! Oh well I guess you live and learn.
My advice to all (and this is where graysonline really won't like me) stay away from them, they double dip, you pay twice for everything. Stick with e-bay for all clearance items, the seller pays the fees, you pay for the item and postage....or just the item if you want to pick up in person.
As for me...,it's back to e-bay for me. Graysonline is dead to me!
Sure I'm well aware that many people out there will jump up and say their fees are for this and that or that their fees are for "overheads". Yep that's great, it just seems to me that they have greater costs and overheads than any other online sales company. Someone is making a lot of money at grays and it certainly isn't the vendors selling their goods.
