Hi you old fart, welcome aboard.

I got adapters for my Ryobi from WMS. If you do a search on the site for 'adapters', you will find them. The guy is very helpfull, so give him a ring.

Yes I took a risk with no employment and yes I took a beating from the wife - but Im glad I had the balls to do it.

As for commenting on behalf of Peter Hosking in other posts all I can say is, I must have done a pretty good job for the man if he is still contacting me, he also knows I have a good rep on here which I have built up by trust and not lies.

It was delayed for whatever reason the shipping company wants to make up. It was picked up on time and didnt make the ship it was supposed to. Yes I am shipping it as its cheaper!

It will be here soon gents.

    Thanks,
Eagle, thanks for answering my question. Personally, I couldn't care less who you are, I'm just thankful that someone is doing what you are.

    Good luck with the venture.

    In support of Eagle...

I have also been through a simlar situation to Eagle except it was a takeover, but the first thing they did was get rid of all the state managers of which I was one.
Took me quite some time to get myself back on my feet as I had just moved states at the company's earnest request which meant I was now living in a state where I had virtually no contacts and no easy opportunities.
So Eagle I applaud you for taking the kind of gamble you have and hope it all works out famously for you.
I for one will be regulalrly browsing your eBay store as soon as the stock goes up.
As for those who claim the shipping excuse is typical of GMC.. what country have you been living in??
I have worked for several organisations who rely on shipping companies to keep the stock flowing and believe me, said shipping companies have been using this kind of justfication for their inability to meet deadlines since pussy was a kitten!!

Thanks Eagle for clearing this matter up, however to answer Tritonite44 question -

I have worked for a private company that was placed (through no fault of the directors) into receivership. We developed a plan to buy back the company through nominee directors and trusts and that was refused by the receiver, so upon application the Supreme court placed the company into liquidation so that this new entity could buy it back from the liquidator.

Although everybody suspected that we were the ultimate owners everything was done legally.

So to answer Tritonite it is allowed and the laws of insolvency, companies and trusts are there to protect us from unscrupulous, and other, creditors.

So if Eagle had been involved in something like this, which we know he isn't, he ought to be congratulated for having the accumin to salvage the spare parts situation for us all.

    Peter.

If you had bothered to read though the thread and take a note of the dates when they were posted, you'll have your answer.

    HI eagle,
Glad to see that you are handling the Triton bits and pieces.

I am looking for the threaded lock shaft for the Superjaws...Part number SJA196 I believe. If you are not handling it do you know who is likely to have it?

I read through the whole thread and am still waiting I don't need any replies to an honest question from someone who probanly doesn't know any more than I do about this matter.
Maybe the man might have an answer himself but I realise he is probably as anxious as the rest of us and also waiting

I would have thought that these two posts from Eagle would've been enough to indicate that it'd be at least another 2 weeks till he lists any more products on eBay

Thanks for your patience, the light is definately at the end of the tunnel now!!

There is a bunch of Triton/GMC on Grays Online at the moment. Be aware there is a 15% overhead and freight. Together they can make the item more expensive than it was retail.
