Triton arbor size
I’ve been given a couple of new Premium Triton saw blades, but they are the 30-35mm arbor type.
My question is would it be OK to use them in the Triton saw with a 35-16mm reducing bush (Linbide brand $3.00 from Timbecon)?
The Triton saw usually comes with a standard 25mm arbor blade and uses a 25-16mm reducing bush, I checked the size of the blade clamps and the flange part that grips the blade is a larger diameter than 35mm so will fully grip the blade with the 35mm arbor.

I can't see there would be a problem Julian.
At least I hope not...the last Triton blade I bought actually came with the larger hole and came packaged with a reducing bush to suit the Triton saw. Haven't actually used it yet but I wouldn't expect Triton to sell the blade+bush package it they didn't intend it to be used that way.

No Problem
Julian,
You will have no problem on the Triton saw as the flanges have a diameter that is substantially larger than 35mm.
The reducing bush will hold the blade center and the flanges hold it in line and prevent wobble etc.
Do not use these blades with a saw that has a flange that is less than 35mm in diameter!!!
Naturally, make sure that the flanges are installed correctly.

Steve, Does that mean that all the Precision blades made by Triton for the 235mm saws can be used?
I was at the Hills Clearance Centre, Riverwood, last week, grabbing a respirator and saw they had a pile of blades. The teeth were different numbers, so would have expanded the range for cutting.
I rejected them because they had other flange diameters.CJ

All are fine, so long as you can source the correct reducer. Ideally is not needing a reducer at all, but when the blades are that price......

Grab em
Sea Dragon,
Grab the blades with the larger arbor hole.
I, like Triton was caught with ordering the same number of those blades as others, only to find out that it is a very rare size. Triton wouldn't take my blades back, they inserted the large bushes instead.
On a Triton saw, you should find no difference and my guess is that these blades will be cheaoer than the regular ones.
