Triton Biscuit jointer is it suitable ??
Hi all I want to make a display cabinet door. A shaker style frame which will have a piece of plexi glass in the middle.
The oak i am using will be 18mm x 50mm if i join the two stiles to the two rails could i use the Triton biscuit jointer ? the biscuit would have to go in the end grain of the rail and it is only 50mm wide,i believe the biscuit is 50mm wide so would it be no good due to the fact that the wood is to narrow i.e 50mm

Going into end grain isn't a worry since it will be held by the glue and the face of the biscuit inside it. You can use biscuits in smaller sizes by allowing it to protrude after joining and then trimming off the excess.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.
