triton biscuits help ??
hi guys
have a work mate that has a triton biscuit jointer and he asked me if he uses the standard biscuits ( 10 , 20 ) will the standard cutter be ok or will he need to get a new bit for them ( standard slot cutter ?

He can already use size 20 standard biscuits with the biscuit jointer attachment, using the datum line - see the pictures below and the biscuit jointer attachment instruction manual. Mark the biscuit position on the stock. Place with mark on RH datum as shown here:
Slide stock to LH datum as shown here:
Result= #20 slot.
I've not tried it, but I believe that trying to use a #10 would be a matter of trial and error, involving quite a bit of testing and guesswork - not worth the effort IMO.

Why not get the correct ones.
