Triton and the Bunnings Saga
Okay so GMC are in Receivership and Triton gear is becoming hard to procure.
Well today I paid a visit to my forth Bunnings Warehouse. This one was at Booval, west of Brisbane. I was amazed to see the Triton stand loaded with goodies. I counted 6 x 235mm Saws, 4 x 185mm Saws, 1 x Respirator, 1 x Bevel Ripping Fence (which I bought), 1 x Precision Router, etc.
My previous visits to this store were nearly always unfruitful as the Triton stand never had anything on it. Anyway must keep positive!
Still looking for a Dust bag DC250. I have placed an order via Glenfords for the Superjaws, but I dont know how that is going to pan out.
Just thought I would post this in case there are woodies in the Brisbane area wanting the saws.
regards
Paul

I'll poke my head back in and have another look. Am sure I was not seeing things and was of sound mind and body at the time.

I was lucky enough to score the last Superjaws at Bunnings Nerang, they were'nt willing to talk turkey about the price though.
Still at least i got one. Will keep my eyes open for any others.
Cheers

Bunnings at Booval had 3 multi stands there a few weeks back for $115 each. One of the forum members was after a couple. I hope he got them as they have dissapered from the shelves. One of the sales staff in the tool shop was saying that they hope that some one picks up triton because its still pretty popular.
Dave,
hug the tree before you start the chainsaw.

For those of you in Melbourne, the South Morang Bunnings last night seemed to have about the same level of Triton stock on their shelves as they always have. The staff member in the tool shop thought they had a few workcenters out the back too. The small saw was marked down to $100 (dont know whether thats any cheaper) - be careful though, some fool dropped one last night !

Eltham (Victoria) has one 235 saw with laser selling for $289, two 1400 Routers selling at 288 They have on special the bigger brother for $315. Heaps of triangle sanders.
Thomas Town had more bits and pieces. 300 series Router Stands for $180. I managed to buy the 1400 Router with accessory kit for under $300missed out on the great $99 deal. I would have brought three at that price
I am looking for a Saw Mounting Upgrade kit (I have the planner attachment just not the mounting kit for the MK3) with winder if anyone has one. also need the Plane mounting kit for the WK3 model. Until I can upgrade to a 2000 table.
