    Default triton saw carrier

i have an early triton 2000 and i need to be able to attach the saw to the saw carrier which is the early aluminium one. the fittings are not available here in australia. does anyone have these fittings as spare parts ?or can anyone suggest a workaround?

Are you sure that the 2000 had a aluminium carriage ( carrier)? I thought this type only applied to the Mk 3.
Triton marketed a replacement carriage for the Mk 3 and which is far superior. This carriage made it so much easier to fit and remove the saw, allowing for ease in adjusting and aline the saw blade.
This replacement carriage may have been the same or very similar to as used on the 2000 model.

You could just make up some fittings. for each one, A bolt about 30-40 mm long, one nut and one wing nut. A small piece of angle iron and a U shaped piece of flat.
