Yes, but you also have to get the Saw Slide Chassis Upgrade Kit (WCA400 ?) to replace your existing saw slide chassis.
That is a the later and better model of the saw slide that is on the WC2000, so inquire about the availability, and cost, of that one first.

Thanks Peter
cheaptoolsau have them for $99.00 plus the $79.00 for height winder.
I plan to build a saw sled for the Triton and I thought that this would make its use a lot easier.

Makes it rather expensive having to buy both. When I got mine, when it first came out, the total cost was about $ 90.
The reason for the saw chassis upgrade is that the old is one rigid piece and the upgraded one is hinged in the middle so it will raise and lower the saw, rather than raise and lower the blade in the saw. You may be able to make one or adapt yours. Maybe someone has one they are willing to part with.
BTW the height winder is the same price new, with warranty, from Carbatec, they may also stock the saw chassis upgrade.

Thanks Peter.
The cost is prohibitive for me. The way I see it, that's $180.00 that could go to a proper table saw . I've had a look at a few and would like to have one before I retire in about 5 years

Triton mk3 Upgrades
Steve,
Having spent a lot of time and effort on trying to improve the faults and limitations of my mk3, I have realised that buying a 'proper saw table' would have been smarter. Your reluctance to spend more money on the Triton is well founded.
The main reasons to persevere with the mk3 would be space limitations and overall budget. Like most multi-function machines, it doesn't perform as well as specialised machines.
A table saw with a crosscut sled, and a sliding compound mitre saw for long boards would make a better workshop.

Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking Rob. I'm going to outlay about $50.00 on building a sled and just make do until I can afford a good table. I have an old Makita 235mm saw that has only done hobby work so will last me a long time yet.
