Triton circular saw bore diameter
Hi All, I've just managed to pick up a pre-loved WCA201 in excellent condition at a reasonable price. Now I need a saw. I was happy enough to plump for the TA235CSL, but noticed that it takes blades with a 30mm bore (according to the Triton website). I emailed Carbatec NZ, and they assured me that the ones they had in stock were 25mm. I haven't been able to get confirmation from Triton directly.
So, does the TA235CSL have a 25 or a 30mm bore? Has it changed at some point and is it just that Carbatec NZ have old stock, or are they confused and are they talking about the TSA001 (which is listed as having a 25mm bore).

The Triton site shows the TSA001 has a 25mm bore, and the 235CSL has a 30mm bore.
All 30mm bore saw blades that I have seen/used come with an insert that takes them down to 25mm if needed.

Just to close this off, Carbatec NZ have stock of the TA235CSL from when it was first released. Definitely 25mm bore size. So, at some point since then Triton have converted over to a 30mm bore size. I have not been able to find out when or why. Just a point to be aware of if you are buying old stock or a second hand unit and especially wanted a 30mm bore.
