New Triton Gear on EBay Dearer than Bunnings
I have being watching triton gear on ebay for some time and can't believe how some sellers are robbing unweary bidders.
Example
18 Volt Triton Plunge Drill $168 at Bunnings $368 on Ebay
Triton Rotary Tool $126 at Bunnings $268 on Ebay
Triton DVD $24 at Bunnings $27.75 + postage on ebay
Triton Jigsaw $189 at Bunnings $300 on ebay
Definately ripping off unweary shoppers.

Depends on how you look at it. No one says how much the item is worth on ebay it is up to th ebay. It is up to the buyer to research the item first and not get caught up in the bidding wars that some people do !! Very easy to loose sight of a bargain when they are trying to win !!

If they are offering it at that price initially - yeah I agree.
However, I have in the past sold some Triton stuff on eBay, started it at $40 and had it go for more than it cost new. That is definitely up to the buyer - they drove the auction up beyond into stupid territory."Clear, Ease Springs"

I had the same thing happen with a nail gun I sold once had it for a year did about 80m2 of flooring with it and it was a great gun, but I am sure it went for about $50 more than a new one at Bunnings and over $100 more than I paid for it.
But that was the way that auction went.

told him he was a tw#t for selling these items at extorinate price, he told me that Triton stuff hardly ever lost money, and its like anything else, buyer beware.
Its lucky that we know the price of an item and what we are willing to pay for it, its the poor suckers that hear that triton is a good brand but dont know the real price of it.

Once again reinforces my resolve to never buy on eBay. Happy to sell there, but there are too many ##### out there with no respect for others.

Grab em Les - great price.
Can't have too many of either. (I use a couple of racks - one for bulk store, one for specialty timbers) A third rack would be good - used as a middle upright for the other two racks so shorter timbers can be stored easily.
As to multistands - never too many"Clear, Ease Springs"

I haven't looked a the listings, but do they ship overseas?
If so then for example the cheapest i've seen the Triton work center in the UK is £186 and it's a lot more expensive in B&Q (bunnings equivalent) from memory it was something like £250+
Mind you shipping might be rather expensive from Australia.
Triton is not very well known here either, which is a shame as for the handyman the workcentre is still hard to beat for versatility.
