Triton Jigsaw + Kit Mating issues
Hi all,
Has anyone successfully used the New Jigsaw TJS001 with the Kit for the router table AJA300? WHen I tried to assemble them today, the Jigsaw's baseplate is too long to allow the use of the backstop. The backstop would need to be modified along with the removing the flang on one side of the flange nut. Has anybody done this? Can the saw be used safely without the backstop?
Cheers

jig saw and plate
hi bc
the jig saw does not fit in the base plate with the back stop in place. however the jig saw does operate safely with the use of the jig saw kit in place. i have cut upto 50mm pine studs using the jig saw and i was amazed at the power this jig saw has.
regards

Triton Response
Thanks Al
I was a bit concerned about cutting hardwood with it though. I had a response today from Triton to the effect that I should use the kit without the back-stop in place. Hope this helps other triton users.
Cheers to all
