    Default triton MDF parts

    Hi Guys

I'm noticing that MDF parts of the crosscut fences on the 2000 saw bench, the fence on the rta 300 router table and the sliding protractor table are suffering from moisture and swelling from storage in a less than ideal location, in that none of them are as flush as they should be

I'd like to be able to make these parts but I note that 15mm Craftwood is the closest to the 16mm the these parts seem to be

probably not a big deal as far as the fences go, but the sliding table needs to be flush with the router table top as far as I can see

has anyone made these parts with success or maybe with different materials

    Cheers
    Bryan

I thought I saw 16mm mdf when I was hunting for "cover sheets" which are mdf and chipboard sheets used to protect deliveries to kitchen makers. Here in brisbane you can get full sheets for as little as $5 and they are great for jigs and so forth. Search gumtree... ?

Or buy 8mm and glue two together ?

Sorry I can't be of more help.

I replaced all my triton mdf with pine, the mdf was suffering from the humidity.
