    Default Triton MK3 router table

Just after a few opinions on how it compares to its alternatives. I have the router table as a part of a MK3 set and I'm thinking of selling it because I've upgraded the table saw. However, I still use it so I'm kinda reluctant. I was wondering whether, if it comes to it I can just build a router table, which I think at the very least will have a better fence. If I can't build an upgrade to it or get one at a decent price, I'd rather keep it. Thoughts?

You can source some very good quality router table components very cheaply from Chinese sources; T-tracks, aluminium extrusions for fences and router mounting plates. The router table can be made from formply or kitchen benchtop material built over a cabinet designed for storing all your bits and pieces.

It all boils down to how much money you want to spend and how much time you are willing to give to building it.

that's exactly what I was thinking of doing. it doesn't seem too hard and my long term plans will be to build a workbench with the router plate integrated. That way I can have a longer fence and the entire workbench as an outfeed table. That's the main limitation of the Triton router table - the size. It would suck not having one in the meantime, though
