Default Triton MOF001 to old RTA300 plate

    Hi all,

I just can't figure it out... How am I going to attach the triton MOF001 router to this router table plate? I landed this older RTA300 table and don't know how these pieces are supposed to attach. I looked in the instructions but couldn't find anything

I've attached some photos to show what I'm talking about.

    Thanks.

Move the 4 bolts into the slotted holes in the mounting brackets.
    Should then fit OK.
    Hope this helps.

Instructions! Thank you. It is basically as i expected but it looked like the clamps on the plate were supposed to fit somewhere in particular on the router. I just found the best spot and it seems to be holding ok.

My only problem is i have no small insert ring or alignment tool so i have the router centred as much as possible by eye in the hole. A little bit fiddly. i am sure it will be ok if its not dead-centre - but i am obviously not speaking from experience

    Very much appreciated. Thanks.

The alignment tool isn't needed with the Triton routers as you wind the collet up into the ring as it is the same diameter as the tool, but if you do not have the small insert, you still have a problem.

    Default Holesaw

    Hi

I just used a holesaw to cut out a plug of wood the same dia of the hole in the mounting plate, inserted a cutter into the router, lowered that through the plug, then done up the brackets. Worked when I had my Triton setup.
