Just wondering if anyone has heard from Eagle or whats happening with the new website he was thinking about setting up to sell his Triton gear ?
I have sent pm's and email but heard nothing ?
He's probably just been inundated with queries or flatout setting something up ?
Cheers

No, I believe he's still looking through all the stuff for my bandsaw fence. It would be nice to get it back someday.
.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.
Regards, Woodwould.

Bob Hall
Eagle,
My Triton router has a variable speed facility, but unfortunately I have no control over when or when it changes speed.
I understand the problem is in the speed controller.
Can you advise if or when you might be able to supply a replacement?
Cheers, Bob

15 amps US = 15 amps Aust.
It is the power output that will be different. based on P = A x V.
Also since the pictured model as you point out does not have a laser light I wonder if it is not old stock.
Also it is the only GMC product there.
Lets me query the concept/comment:
"wrong, they are still tied together. GMC and Triton are still going. Check the Seers website for the latest GMC mitre saw."

Doesn't necessarily need to be called GMC.
Not sure if this is common knowledge, but GMC seemed to sell in other countries under different names. I was recently searching the GMC website for an old manual, and found the following manual. And also this one. So "Mac Allister" is apparently a GMC brand.
Either that, or they were just a supplier for Macallister.
Not sure how all this global branding rubbish works... I don't undertand the point of selling the exact same thing under different names. Surely that is just extra overhead? Commodores sold in the uk as Vauxhalls, in China as Buicks, and in the middle east as Chevrolets, and in the US as Pontiacs. Madness!

In the UK, MacAllister is a house brand for B&Q although the Macallister 1250 router I bought off eBay a couple of years ago came from Germany, where B&Q don't operate, albeit made in ROC. I've seen an identical one under several brand names unrelated to one another, so it is obviously a standard design from some Chinese factory being badge engineered.
Cheers
Peter

Guys Eagle is working through all his emails and getting back to people (I received a response from him today). I suspect he was flooded with emails.
