Triton Planer Attachment
Does anyone here own one of these and able to give a report on it? How easy is it to set up? Does it get round the problem of a ridge down the middle of a board wider than 82mm after a second pass? Any comments greatly valued.
Cheers

Hi Zy,
Have a look thru the history by using the search utility on this BBS and search for Planner Attachment.
Where I posted a few times regarding this subject.
The setup has only a few steps but only experience will explain why each step must be performed carefully.
Reading thru the setup instructions will NOT tell you why NOR explain the concepts of the attachment.
Again, have a look at the previous posts for an explaination.
The Planner Attachment is really a single pass operation. A step will eventuate if attempting to plane more that the original width of your blade.
This is usually sanded down easily.
However, I've been using my Triton Router Table with a 2" bit to manage my planning instead.
I'll have to revisit the planner and its funtion soon.
