    Default Triton product reviews

    Konbanwa,

Was reading the thread about the router height adjustment problem, and followed the link to the site that reviewed the router and the powered respirator.

I seem to stumble across gems like this by accident.

Has anyone ever compiled a list of links to product reviews of the orange gear?

Or will this be a rainy day activity, reading through the past umpteen years worth of threads?

I find the warts and all reviews fantastic. In most cases I have found that there has been a reason for a limitation, occassionally though the review seems to have lead to a fix.

I suspect that this may be something that one of the proactive clubs may have already compiled. Would rather spend my rainy days making sawdust than surfing the net.

    Thanks all.

    Steve

If it is orange, it is good - what more review do you need?

But seriously, there are some good ones out there.

Check out Dean's (another ghost in this BB machine)

    www.onlinetoolreviews.com

He has reviewed some of the Triton equipment (and GMC)

    Wink Interesting reading

    Stuart,

The reviews are fascinating, particularly in hindsight, seeing the improvements.

I remember being very dissappointed with my first respirator because of the stiff hose, which with the new one is now fantastic.

Hay fever and living on a farm in Australia were always a bad combination, however the powered respirator made brush cutting and mowing the lawn a lot more bearable. Who cares if you look like Darth Vader.

I am finding in Japan though that ear muffs or other forms of hearing protection are yet to take off, yet alone eye protection or those ever important yet out of sight, out of mind lungs.

    Thanks again Stuart.

    Default Safety Shmafety

    Wassy,

Who needs safety here in Japan.

If you are injured in the west, there is compensation, civil suits, A Current Affair and all sorts of things that empolyers fear, as well as some fairly pro active unions. The West seems to fear accidents because the cost to everyone is so high, not just the injured party.

Over here it seems that if you lose a limb at work, you must first apologise to the boss and your co-workers, before cleaning up your mess and asking permission to go to the sick bay.

Somewhere there is a balance between east and west.

On the other hand, the Japanese seem to wear cotton gloves for everything. Even for operating machinery for with moving parts. Someone please tell my why? I have been coming here for 20 years and still haven't worked that one out!

    Steve
