I think you should be fine. That is a good saw and if you look closely
at the Triton saw it is fairly obviously modeled on the Hitachi C9.

I thought that the powered saw table was designed for the small Triton 184 mm saw and as such it was a dud. The saw thatcame with it was not very good according to reports on the forum at the time.

Yep Mine came with the smaller saw. Not sure about the dud comment though, as long as you realise the limits of the saw.
I never did much ripping with mine, mainly cross-cut and mostly 18 to 35mm stock.

They are easier to lug around is your short on space.

I think you could fit a 254mm saw if you modify/replace the table insert.

Cleaned up the table fairly well. Was used at owner/builder site and I think was used as just a workbench for part of its life. Nice and clean now though.

Got my saw mounted up all good. Cuts accurate to rip fence - parallel cuts. Blade is at 90degrees and I love the ease of height adjustment on the c9. So simple.

Leading edge of fence is at 90 but the rear part is just a little off. Cant seem to get it to adjust correctly will need some more work

Im running an older rip blade around 180mm at the moment. Ive orded a fine tooth 235mm blade to put in it. Slot has enough room to allow this size blade.

Already ripped up some lengths of pine and cut out some plywood drawers. Finish is good enough and will only get better with new blade.

Overall pretty happy

50 bucks isn't a lot to part with.So is it worth it?Sure,you'll always get your money back if you sell it on.Question is for this price how many components are missing?I see you've started another post in search for parts.The overhead guard is same as wc2000 but the support post which also acts as the revving knife is specific to power saw table and its predecessor(compact table).I would not be surprised if you were also missing the mitre protractor
and captive push stick.Although this unit doesn't have the multi functions of its big brother(2000) it's a great little table for small projects and practice.

Yep, not very much for the work Ive already done with it.

Has the mitre guage although I'm not sure how accurate it is. Ive never liked those things. very sloppy in the guide for it.

It has the feather stick in the guage which is handy, and also has the captive push stick which i now love.
