    Default Triton respirator faceshield

Does anyone know where I can get a new faceshield for my Triton respirator? Mine is the older type with the PITA moulded plastic hose; if anyone knows how to convert it into a better one that info would be good too!

Try Peter at Bairnsdale Electrics. I think he may have some.

Thanks Endgrain, but unfortunately Peter doesn't have any.

My faceshield picked up some slight varnish overspray a couple of years ago; it is still in good condition but visibility isn't what it was! It means that any precision work is difficult while wearing it, now I only use it when planing and thicknessing timber as I don't need to be close to the work to do this.

Can anyone suggest a polish or similar to remove the overspray? The varnish would have been an ordinary oil base stain and varnish thinned down with turps.
