Triton Series 2000 Wheel Kit
I have recently purchased a Triton Wheel Kit from Carbatec. On receipt I note that it is for a Series 2000 but my workbench is a MK3. Does anybody know if these wheels will fit my bench as Carbatec don't know. If not, does anybody know how to adapt them?

The Mk3 wheel kit is fixed to the diagonal crossbars of the stand, ( holes are provided near the bottom of the square crossbars. Looking at the WC2K wheels it should be able to fit, but I never tried it.

This image shows the kit fitted to a WC2000, but I'm not sure that will help you.

Hi Peter and Ray
Thanks a million for your advice. Unfortunately I have now established that the Series 2000 kit cannot be used on the MK3 frame. I've solved the problem with two little stubs of broom stick, some scrap timber and two castors, which works perfectly - total cost ZERO!!! Kit going back to supplier. Thanks once again. Cornhill

The 2000 has two holes for each wheel drilled M6.5 across each rear leg to take the bolts supplied. With the plastic leg bung in place, the bottom hole is 28mm from the floor and the top one 98mm ie the centre distance of the two holes is 70mm.
I don't know the Mark 3, so there may be differences with the leg design (the 2000 legs are fairly "splayed" for stability) but as long as you get those holes in the right place it should fit.
Hope this helps.
Brian
Curses you must have posted that while I was measuring!! Incidentally, I very much enjoyed visiting Port Macquarie when we were in Oz last October.

Hi Brian, Thanks for going to the trouble but I had worked out that it was not going to fit my MK3.In the end I effectively made a skateboard out of some scrap wood and two castors. I then inset two bits of broomstick into the top of the board to suit the leg
spaceing.Problem solved -no cost!
Glad you enjoyed Port We love it here too
Cheers
Gordon
