    Dear Aberdeen,

    Very interesting...

Last time I was in Stratco (maybe 6wks ago or so), I saw a small amount of GMC and B&D, but definitely no Triton...

If they get something going, though, why the heck not! Stratco always seem to have plenty of floorspace to spare, and tons of room out the back - it could be a really good "fit" for both of them. The only thing is, Stratco doesn't really sell timber, so are their customers the sort that will "shell out" on Machinery?...

Having said that, poor-old Triton wasn't getting much "air-time" (so to speak), at the BigB, so what have they got to lose... If it becomes a chain-wide thing, at least now any interested buyers will know where to go to actually see and touch the gear. And for the "impulse" buyers, at least Triton will have a captive market at Stratco, rather than having to compete with everything else from XU1 and Ozito up to DeWalt and Makita...

Let's hope it works Aberdeen, you "Orange-T" Champ you...

    Best Wishes,
    Batpig.

P.S. I just noticed the Ryobi discount bit now! That is just so funny when you're "in the know", hey!

Hey, I couldn't help but smile either when I saw the 15% RYOBI discount bit in the catalogue
And it was in very large type compared to the rest of the page !!!
