Default triton wk bnch 2000 saw slide chassis fit MK3

ive recently picked up an old MK3 workbench and after removing the table top and saw/ slide chassis i noticed that the chassis is bent, this of course means that the saw two is sitting aquardly an un square when compared to the table top. the accuracy and credibility of the the work bench is severely comprimised by this. i am wondering if the slide chassis from the wk bnch 2000 fits the MK3 or if any one can sell me a slide chassis for the MK3 at price by their dissgression?

Yes it does, and if you get this slide chassis you can also get the height winder, for it will fit the MK3 and the upgraded chassis.

When I upgraded the chassis it was readily available direct from Bunnings and other stores, but alas no longer.

However Carbatec is now selling the Triton range and I would check with them about the chassis for the workcentre 2000. Their website shows that they sell other accessories so they may be able to help you.

The cost of a chassis, and height winder might make it way too expensive to "update"

When available in the old days of triton they were about $50-60 each
A complete 2nd Mk3 goes for about $150+ on ebay

If all else fails you may also be able to make up a chassis out of angle iron, and reuse the square plastic bearings.

I have one off a MK3 you are welcome to for the cost of getting it to you from Brisbane.
Keep in mind that it is 20 odd years old with a couple of extra bolt holes in it. Other than that it is still ok.
