Has anyone contacted Timber bits ?
from their web site Triton WX7 Workcentre protoype | Timberbits Blog
Date Posted: 2 October 2015
"we are Australia's premium Triton dealer so we were given the exclusive privilege to be the First in Australia to test out the brand new triton [WX7] work center"
19 January 2016
[the WX7] is a far better product than the Workcentre 2000. Unfortuantely (sic) were (sic) not expecting them in Australia until the 2nd half of the year.

Comment on Triton WX7
some comments
In concept the WX7 looks almost identical to Festool's CMS system.
If the ease of use approaches or surpasses the CMS and the price in AUS is close to the Canadian price (around CAD $585 including tax for the basic table), it should be a winner.
FYI,
the router table module is about CAD $300
the contractor saw module is about CAD $530 -- so WX7 table + saw would be a bit over CAD $1100regards from Alberta, Canada

Wow love the concept of the new WX7.
It looks like Triton is back with a vengeance. All we need now is a reliable distributor.I tried to be normal once.
Worst 2 minutes of my life.

I was under the impression that this is still in the "concept" stage?

It is interesting that something that originated in Australia is hard to find in its country of origin.
I tried to be normal once.

Carbatec has it for pre-order on their website, but holy jesus is the Australia tax bad on them https://www.carbatec.com.au/triton-tools
$800 for the base stand
$500 for the router table module
$1000 for the contractor saw module
Amazon has the base stand for ~$575 AUD, would probably still work out cheaper with postage than Carbatec's prices. Contractor saw module price is f*cking ridiculous
Router table module seems like less of a gouge, $425 AUD on amazon. Can't figure out why the contractor saw cost is DOUBLE in Australia!
