Triton XT18 Drill Disassembly
First time poster here ...
My XT18DD2BS drill suddenly stopped working whilst in use. It's not the battery as I have tested it on another XT18 tool.
My problem is getting the case apart. There are many obvious screws in recesses around one side of the case plus 4 prominent ones that appear to hold the drill snout, I'll call it. Tried to search for a manual but could only find a 13page dufus-level publication about unpacking the box it comes in and the necessity to charge the battery!
An earlier post had a useful answer recommending a new switch/trigger which would certainly need disassembly if that is the issue.
Then there is an earlier post asking about disassembly, but a redirect to Metalwork Forum where I had to register ... but they objected to same email as this forum so here I am, just me and my sicko drill.
Anyone help? Thanks John
