    Default Updated website

Well, the Newcastle Triton Owners Club club has bitten the bullet and coughed up for a web hosting site and now we will be able to put in much better website than the one that we have had running for a few months now.
I have built a new site for testing although it has retained some features of the old site. when i first went with the old site I asked for some comments and was pleased by the constructive comments that I got back. I have used these comments to plan this site wherever possible.

The new address is www.newcastletriton.asn.au - It has been up for about 2 hours now so it may be a little flakey but if so the flakes will be sorted out ASAP.
    Catch ya later,
    Peter B.

    Thumbs up

    Peter,

Looking much closer to a "professional" site.

The front page with it's links, etc., now loads nice and fast........(this is one complaint I constantly hear made about websites, people usually go to a site looking for some form of information, etc., and when they have to sit and wait, sometimes for ridiculous amounts of time before they even see the "link buttons", let alone actually get to the pages they want, it becomes very frustrating).

I only went to the "About" page but just from that, what I would suggest is that you look at the font and it's size that has been used as the text seems somewhat crammed up. Also consider the background and font colours..........these need to be easy on the eye whilst retaining sufficient contrast to allow comfortable reading.

I look forward to watching the sites development.

I really don't think that it will quite reach that level!

I will take a look at the font size and contrast tommorrow.......... Thanks for the tip!
