Triton Respirator
Bought my second Triton Respirator a couple of days ago.
(first Triton respirator is used for wood turning).
Went out with the TLB (tractor loader backhoe) today for about 6 hours.
Dug out and moved 30 or so tonne of dirt (building a road).
For the first time I could laugh at the flies and dust.
Funny watching a fly walking around on the face shield trying to find a way in.
These are those little black things that frequent the bush and try to get moisture from you by crawling up your nose, in your ears and eyes, or straight down the throat.
There is more than one use for these things. Didn't eat a single fly all day.

Now I know why I felt so hungry that day. Lack of fresh meat.

Having seen all what has been written I knew I would have to consult the EU (European Union) regulations on the respirator. At last I have discovered what has been causing all this mirth - it’s the lack of oxygen. The regulations show that using the mask you are not conforming to EU regulations and depriving yourselves of this vital ingredient<o></o>

Go easy on him. He's a Pom.
You have to make allowances for the fact that they are raised in an oxygen deprived atmosphere over there.
You know - the pollution etc - it effects the mind.

Jokes aside Triton cannot sell the respirator in Europe - I am told it fails EU regulations. The EU interfering again

Change the name to Powered Dust Filter?
What about if they change the name to powered dust filter? Or should we start working on a modification which introduces Oxygen ... I'm thinking that this could be handy as I get on in years.
Seriously, we have had a series of bush fires in close to Perth WA and I'm seriously thinking of keeping the Triton Respirator on all the time around the house - to keep out the smoke.
