Warrenty
Hi all.
I own a super Jaws, which is about two years old. Last night I went to clamp up a part push down on the peddle and in broke away from its fitting now it's totally stuffed.
I've phoned Bunnings - But all there interested in is if I have the receipt -which I don't so I been told without it there not much they can do.
So who looks after warranty issues GMC or Triton?
Regards Nuggett

Send an e-mail to [email protected] explaining the problem. They are pretty good.

Nugget
I had a similar problem.
Apparently Triton have changed the way the rod is connected to the foot.
I sent an email to Triton with the part number.
They contacted me pretty quickly and told me they had updated the connection.
Within a few days they sent a box of metal with the new fittings, a big lump of metal, not the little washer I had lost.
No charge.
I was very impressed.
I would have been happy to pay for the new part as I reckon the Super Jaws is a great tool and the upgrade would have been worthwhile.
Parts are too complicated for Bunnings. Talk to Triton as they are interested in their customers and they know what you are talking about.Scally

Nuggett, as mentioned above, contact GMC/Triton & you should be right.
This problem (if yours is the same) is mentioned in this previous thread

If you have trouble fitting the new pieces, take it to a Triton Demonstration on the Gold Coast, the demonstrators name there is John. He loves fixing things like this... Look at http://www.triton.com.au/demonstration.php and look up your local Bunnings store...
