wc2 or triton compact saw table?
Hi,
I can't decide whether to buy a whole WC2000 or just buy a compact saw table made by Triton. The way I see it is this;
Save £100 by just buying the table not WC
Not short of space and plan to make my own router table anyway
Use the saved money to buy other jigs etc.
If not routing then most people seem to use the WC for sawing only?
any thoughts? - I plan eventually to get to get a bandsaw and p/t in time so is the compact saw table capable of doing all the jobs for sawing the w/c can do?
In the UK machine mart catalogue for those of you not who've not seen this bit of kit.
Advice appreciated.

This has been covered a lot in these forums. You'll find lots of info by browsing the Triton section.
But do yourself a favour and save some time. Buy the 2000.If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

If you have a choice (financially), then don't get the compact.
If you don't have a choice, or it is one of the deciding factors - save.
Here's a few lines you can read between.
