I have not seen any of the help replies you mention so I might be repeating what you already know, but here is some help anyway.

The standard dimension from the zero to the fence is 60mm. It is most unusual that you were supplied with arms that were 1mm out and this should have been picked up in production.

Triton printed some fence arms at 59mm to assist with a few hard to sort out set up problems that end users had (usually) when they had a saw with a very wide kerf blade, or sometimes because there just did not seem to be any other fix. It was a good way to assist end users who found the saw blade was sitting out of line with the riving knife and could not adjust the saw to zero.

Kincrome can assist you by replacing one of the arms free of charge. We have arms printed at either 60mm or 59mm. Let me know which you want. The 60 is probably the best one.

On the subject of the fence being out of square, again I dont know if you have had advice on this, but the fence should be square to the table or with a very slight lean away from the blade. I think a degree was acceptable. If the fence leans slightly it is o.k. with most cuts where the timber is flat on the table and the edge of the timber will run against the bottom of the fence. The workcentre I use has a fence which leans away a little, has never been a problem and I find I get a very accurate result. Also chek that the set screws which hold the fence arms onto the fence are not too loose and allowing the fence to lean. The tension on these screws should be just enough to hold the arms in a set position when the fence is removed from the table but no tighter.

thanks endgrain, thats the old triton service that I remember, I hadn't even thought about the new manufacturer as I thought they would have no interest in product made before their aquisition. I'll call today. the arms are definately different one is 59mm the other is 60mm. The issue with the fence is that it has a slight warp in it both along its length (leans away from the cut on the last 300mm by 1.5mm or so which adds to the inner track error, and you're right it does lean slightly out from the table on the vertical.
