Default Wood top for a Triton mk3

Has anyone done this? Was thinking of using 3 pieces of straight edge ply leaving 2 channels either side of the blade to make a sled.

Try searching "Sled for Triton" or similar as I am sure that there have been posts in the past about making sleds for Tritons.

I made runners that slot into the existing channels then a sled with slots along the bottom that fit snuggly onto the runners. I had previously tried runners along the edges of the top but somehow the edges didn't seem to be parallel.
