Default Workcentre & dust ectractor problem

    Hi Guys,
Just bought a dust extractor for my wc2000. My problem is that the outlet connection point on the triton saw interferes with the hose connection when I lower the blade. I am looking for a bend to connect to the saw to go under the rail of the wc200 so the flex from the extractor doesnt keep interfering when I lower the blade. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    buballo

    Hi

My recollection is that the dust extractor hose only goes into the blade guard. For under table collection Triton make the grey felt dust bags or you can make a doohickey to catch it below the table. But it isn't designed to attach directly to the saw except when the saw id being used separately from the Workcentre.
    Cheers

I found using plastic elbows meant for electrical conduit or plumbing to be useful. You might have to use a a few wraps of electrical tap to "bulk up" the end of the fitting for a snug joint.

    Thanks guys,
Bit disappointing that the triton wouldnt be compatible to tell the truth. Will need to make up some gadgets to make it adapt.

    Thanks for the assistance.
