Thumbs up My workshop is turning orange!!!

I went to Magnet Mart (big hardware chain in this part of the country) today with the intent to buy a TRA001 and then start thinking about building a router table to put it in.

Anyhow, I got there, got distracted and ended up comming home with the router, the router table, the stand and a couple of multi stands! I spent the afternoon setting it all up and then the evening playing with my new toys.

A lot has been said about the shortcomings of the Triton Router table but I must say that it has suddenly opened up a huge range of joinery and woodworking options that I've missed out on till now. With a few minutes of carefull set up I was edge jointing some boards using the spacers supplied with the Triton fence. A capability I would have taken forever to explore if I'd built my own table and fence because I would never have got around to it.

It's also means that my workshop is starting to take on a distinct orange hue! Is there a cure for this?

    regards

    Manix

    A can of tartan paint?
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Well... since Ive just been adviced to use the term Triton Orange instead of "that other place that flogs orange gear orange" Id have thought you would be chuffed with yerself!

Did you get a gander at the new Triton 5 in 1 saw thingy? Im ccnsidering... I know I need an ali bodied trimmer but that thing of tritons is just soooo flamin purty! aahh the temptations we woodnuts an woodboobs go through eh? AINT IT GRAND!

Oh and Ive found the absolute bestest way of not really noticing the orange splattered over ALL the tools in the cave... DONT have any lights glarin down on them!! work like a mole in the dark... mmm on second thoughts maybe a couple of discreet lights would sorta help avoid that dreaded blood letting caper eh? but then again reds a really solid color aint it?!! Nah just joking about the blood not about the lights... I took all the lights down in the cave the other week when I sorted it and havent gotten around to hoistin them again... and you know even though I cant see a bloody thing cept for the small window of opportunity between 11a, an 12pm and again from 2.30pm to 4pm which is a right buggar for doin anything... I also cant see the bloody orange either!
Believe me there IS life beyond marriage!!! Relax breathe and smile learn to laugh again from the heart so it reaches the eyes!!

I think I prefer the tartan option rather than turning off the lights! I have a hard enough time in a fully lit shed, I'd create mayhem if I was flying blind.

I have seen the 5 in 1 spin saw, it looks like a very Gucci tool with plenty of potential to experiment with it's many features. I've got to admit though, it's the type of tool I'd buy and show off to everyone the million things it can do and 12 months down the track I still wouldn't have used it in anger.
