Yeah I checked that out. It's a good list and overlaps with most of mine. Of course, no power tools in my list... I have them but they aren't in the list. To me hand power tools equals renovating and that's my least favourite thing to do. I do more of that than anything else in my spare time though
...I'll just make the other bits smaller.

I hadn't seen that before. It seems to cater for the basic necessities with the usual suspects, but I was a little surprised to see a shoulder plane in a 'basic' kit. While they are desirable & useful things (though not sure a Stanley 92 would be my first choice ), they fall in the semi-luxury category to me. You can still build prettty fine stuff without a shoulder plane.
I liked his cheap & cheerful pencil gauge - now that's basic......
