    A cracked #2? Bargain!

    That raises another question. Seeing a #2 for auction with damage to the casting is not unusual.
    Are they just thinner and easier to break?
    Or do people still try to sell them (when a common #4 would be in the bin) because they still have some of value?
    OK, that last question doesn't scan well, but you know what I mean.

    The #2 I saw the other day had a small chunk out of the side, just next to the tote....
    We don't know how lucky we are......

    Nah, it'll be sold by now. I didn't go to todays auction. I really should be selling some of my planes to lighten the load, not buying more.
    We don't know how lucky we are......
