Got your eye on anything in particular, Clinton ? ..

    I have ...

Shame about postage though. Bit frustrating, that most of the tools on E-bay are from the states.

Yeah, I'll see how the router goes.
Would like to pick up some of those chisels to have a play, but not at thoses prices.

Postage is not too bad. I'll go look at my last ePay to give you an idea. Does the postage put you off?
    Cheers,
    Clinton

US$22 for a 5 Lb package snail mail.

Makes working out a "good price" a little bit more difficult, but I get there.

Cheeky bugga !...thats what I was looking at. Bit of a co-incidence. You go for it. I've got one already. Just, like the idea of having a few more blades to shape. (probably should be PM'ing this sort of stuff,,, , I'm in one of those 'I don't give a &&&&' moods)

Does the postage put you off ?
Shore does. Around $30US, or something like that, for a regular sized plane from the US. Thats nearly twice the maximum price I'm willing to pay for the tool itself. Maybe I'm a bit too cheap ?

Well 22 less than 30. Can get 71's for around $40AU in australia. Is the guy willing to sell it for just $15US. Hope so, cause I an't buying it for much more. 15 + 22 = 37US = $50AU ....yes ? (hows my maths?)

What I really want is to get my hands on planes like these

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MakeTrack=true

But even more beat up than this,,,,so rusty that nobody bids on them and I get them for like $10.

A stanley 289's another one I want. And a 46. I missed an oportunity on a 46 when I first got on e-bay, while still testing the waters. Still kicking myself about that one..........just the bloody postage putting me off!!!.... One good reason to live in America

    Gota go to bed. Night.

Its too late to check any maths.

I'm looking at the US ePay only to get stuff that seems very hard to obtain here. Must be the odd bargain as well, somewhere.
I also live in hope of picking something up "cheaply", cleaning it up and on selling it. Thats the plan anyway. Seems to be some good buys on parts.

I gotta check out getting a moving box sent over. See what that sets me back.
    Cheers,
    Clinton
