First attempt at a tote
I picked up an old #6 a few weeks back. Horn was broken off the tote so I rummaged through my off cuts and found a bit of hardwood from my new garage floor. Finished in poly, blo and turps. Feels nice. The only problem... The old fix for the broken tote involved shortening the threaded rod. Took me a while to figure that one out. Lucky my #5 had a long thread.

Did you use a template, or just freehand the shape from the remains of the original?
