Bad Axe Saws
Hi all
Wondering if anyone has any experience with the Bad Axe saws made in USA? Would be interested to hear from anyone who owns these saws. I'm interested in the dovetail saw and tenon saw.

Hi Simon
I know Claw Hama is a big fan, so maybe send him a PM. Btw, he happens to be in Newcastle.
Cheers, Brett

Bad Axe uses top grade materials and Mark is an excellent sharpener. the saws are also very pretty.

I just took delivery of two of Marks saws a couple of months ago, have not really put them through their paces yet. But first view as many other reviewers have indicated, they are outstanding. And Mark is great to deal with, you can really communicate with him in terms of what your needs and preferences are. The only negative for me was the it was a long wait to get them, But worth it.
I have:
14" Sash Saw, 13 pi x-cut (.02 plate) and the Bad Axe 14" Sash Saw, 12 ppi hybrid-cut (.025 plate).
Good luck,
Neil

I've never read a bad review of their work, for what that's worth.
However, I wonder if there's an axe maker called Bad Saw axes?

I live in the US and I am reading about Bad Axe saws everywhere. I've never read a bad thing said about them. You can go to their website and read the "Reviews & Articles", there are some well known people, saying good things about them. I don't own one myself, I prefer 19th century saws, but among new saws I think it would be hard to do better.

I live in the US as well and I have two Bad Axe Saws, a dovetail and a 12" carcass saw. I am very pleased with both saws. The feel and cut are superb. Mark has also sharpened an old Disston tenon saw for me and it "sings".
I don't believe that you will be disappointed in any Bad Axe saw.
