You've been a busy little lad, haven't you! I'm amazed you have managed to come across so many socket types. I've been hunting high & low for a 1/2" to complete the small set of socket Bergs I inherited from my dad a few years ago, with zero luck. It has a full range of sizes from 1/8 to 1", but the 1/2" was AWOL - I suspect foul play by one of my non-woodie brothers! It looks like you have 3 of them - . Would you by any chance be interested in selling me one of the spare handle-less 1/2 inch specimens?
Cheers,IW

When,as an apprentice, I started buying tools (1970) the tradesman I was working with suggested "Fish" branded chisels. They were Bergs with plastic handles. I picked up an orphan with a Timber handle tp add to the group some time ago but was told that the plastic handles are not a "spare part" as such and so the crowd (Blackwoods, I think) couldn't/wouldn't supply.
I just wonder if is so.
Those plastic handle can sure take a beating. I love them. 40 years of hardwork, at times, even abuse and they stand up ready for another boutJust do it!
Kind regards Rod

PS to previous post, I rescued from a travelling tool seller a very abused 2" Ward beveled chisel. After a visit with the grinder and stone it turned out to be every bit as good as the Bergs. I noticed someone looking to make a timber handle for one of their 2" Bergs. I was amused to read that the standard handle for a 2" is an upscaled version of the normal handle shape. So I think I will do the same. At the moment it has an iron bark handle that I turned for it, but it has cir come to bad design on my part and too many heavy hits
Just do it!
Kind regards Rod

Some other additions:
The large pair of pliers were of my Grandfathers which made the day of cleaning out my Grandmothers house recently a bit more bearable
The small pair were given to me by my mate Robert
The pincers or end cutters and plane blade were a market find.
