    Thanks for that Waldo
    I'll add to my wish list;
    4 extenders,
    1 set KP blocks
    If available.

    Thanks, John.

A note to those ordering KP Blocks....the N American website of Bessey says this:

Note: KP Blocks will come in 2 pieces - an upper and lower piece. The lower piece
is the standard KP Block for the classic K Body® style while the addition of the lower
piece raises the KP Block for use with the K Body® REVO™ (KP Block adaptor).

So, if you are ordering REVOs and KP Blocks, it seems you should order the KP Block adaptors as well.

I thought that the origional K bodies had been discontinued & had been replaced with the revo model.

So i guess we just have to make sure we are ordering the correct KP blocks.

Unless its at all possible to still get the original (and best ever) K Body clamps, I wont be getting any of these Revos. Why on earth would they stop making such a robust, versatile precise clamp and replace it with these things...slip off rubber pads, give me a break.

I use my K body's every day at work (Joinery, Shopfitting, Cabinetmaking), and I have never used a better clamp than these.

Read these threads on the Revos.

    I'm interested in:

    2x Revo 300mm
    4x Revo 600mm
    3x extenders

btw, I live near Canberra, but travel regularly to Sydney, so could pick up from either location.

    Default K-Body and k-body "revo"

    Hi all,

Just a quick note, the old k-body clamps have been replaced with the k-body "Revo" clamps. It is the revo clamps that you will get with this bulk order as the old k-bodies are no longer made. For those of you that have specified K-100 or K-??? then I am assuming it's the revos you are after. According to Bessey the Revos are an improved version of the old k-bodies. Indeed I was a little sceptical until I went down to carbatec and took a good look at the revos. They indeed look to be an improvement (in my opinion) - they look to be just as tough and accurate as what I already have in the k-bodies.

    Ciao,

    M.

    Hi All,

Any other tentative orders, please get them to this thread by the end of Monday (9/2) so I can get rough numbers and get going on getting firm quotes from suppliers. I hope to have firm numbers for everyone by the end of next week or early the following week depending on how quick I get the various quotes in. As per last time, when I get the quotes I will pick the supplier based on whoever gives us the best price.

    Ciao,

    M.

    Hey Mark,

There is always something to learn in this world! I'll chase this up when I start going to suppliers for quotes.

    Default KP block adaptors

    Hello again,

I better have some KP block adaptors to add to my list, please.

With regard to the "K" series clamps, I understand the clamps will be Bessey's current models not the "K" series. I was going to use the numbers in Bessey's document:

    http://www.besseytools.com/pdfs/Home...ody_Clamps.pdf

    Regards,

The K-body revo's look very similar to the Jet parallel clamps. I have some of them and they are fantastic. Don't have any K-bodies though, but I reckon they'll be just as good as the Jet's. Hey I'll take discounted good quality clamps any day!!

    Cheers,

    WILL

4 each or 2 pairs however the come.
