    Red face

I think I'm going to be in big trouble when her indoors returns (she's in Brisbane helping our first born prepare for her second born). I'm up to more than US$440 and still looking. I hope she accepts that "I'll need all of this stuff to make lovely things for our Grandchildren"

    Hi -

If it makes you all more comfortable - I've just reviewed the spreadsheet where we're tracking the orders/weight - and each individual's share of the ocean freight portion is about $20 - averages about $10 per set of clamps...and is dropping as more people order...

    Cheers -

Can't help you all out with the cause, since I am already in the states.

    But...
Have to commend all all of you to your commitment and determination to help one another get the clamps you want at a reduced price.

Makes me want to get a group together here to buy a large quantity of timber at a reduced price.
    Best Regards
    Mike

Is anyone from WA taking up this offer?

Just wondering what it would cost to get a set to WA if there are no other takers.

    Regards

    Neil.

I'll post Australian freight costs on Monday once I get the quote. Shouldn't be too high.

I'm in as well (1 each A/B and a straight edge).

In Dandenong area (South East Melbourne), if it helps with Victorian location.

    Question

Hi everyone. I've been lurking and learning for some time now and as it turns out, this is my first post... I tried one a few weeks back and somehow hit the wrong key and mucked it up... my long and beautifully composed message (can't remember what it was about) just disappeared into the ether!

I hope this one is more successful because firstly, I want to say that the whole Bessey K-Clamp effort is a fantastic idea and lotsa congrats and slaps on the back to all those who got it going. It's just too good to pass up - which brings me to "secondly"... is it OK with you guys if this newbie dives in for two "B" sets?

Also, if it's of any help, I have a shop in Ascot Vale, Melbourne. You're welcome to use it as a pick-up point, etc.

Default WARNING: Do not order wood

    Hi guys,

Just a note not to order any wood in the bulk order.

Lee Valley have some raw wood available, but if anyone orders it as part of the batch we are likely to find AQIS pulling the whole shipment apart and spraying it and taking a week or more in the process - which is obviously not a good thing.

Lots of other cool stuff to spend your money on though
