Default Bodgy and Sheddies scribing knife.

Bodgy kindly made me a scribing knife. I made the Huon pine handle with Myrtle pins. I'll finish it with U-Beaut de-waxed Shellac. Works great. I've profiled the handle to fit my bent and lumpy fingers. Comments welcome.

    Thumbs up

Wow - check out that blade!!! wouldn't want to get it near my fingers

The handle looks good too, and if it's made to fit your hand - even better!

Good One Bodgy! You are a lucky man Shedhand. Hope you greatly enjoy using it.

    cheers
    Wendy

That must the first siting of one of yours planes on this forum -- and the shed's not even finished, right?

C'mon. Now you've shown us one, we've got to see the lot.

WE WANT TO SEE YOUR PLANES. SHOW THEM TO US NOW!

Good on you. You know you've been wanting to do that for months.

    Felt good, didn't it?

Looks very useful Sheddie - but can it reach into fine dovvies with such a broad blade I wonder?

" I've profiled the handle to fit my bent and lumpy fingers"

My God, what shape are you fingers, or are there really 6 of them?
Whatever the answer, it's a frightening looking device and the benefit of having 6 fingers is that you might still have 5 left after a big day in the shed!
    love it, Fletty
