Default which brand g-clamps and sash clamps??

    Hi Guys,

time to buy more clamps (you can never have enough right?)

Currently I use Record G-Clamps, and love 'em. They are well made, and much better than some of the chinese imported ones.
Got plenty of quik-grips but they don't have the clamping strength of good old g-clamps.

I need more and was wondering where the cheapest place to buy them would be? Are there any other brands I should consider that have same quality at better price ?

Also, I want to get some sash clamps. From what I can see, t-bar type are the ones to have ????
Don't really want to spend a mint per sash clamp but don't want a cheapie either. Should I get t-bar over round pipe sash clamps?

Advice / suggestions on ones to get (and where to buy cheaply) would be appreciated.

    Ian

If you like the record G clamps over the cheapies, mate stick with them.
They are dearer but they seem reasonably priced for what they are.
Have you seen the record adjustable g clamp? Very cool. not cheap though.
From What I have seen the recors stuff is well priced for good steel.
Have you tried the usual suspects.
    carbatec, and others.
    cheers
Any thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
    Most powertools have sharp teeth.
    People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.
