    Default old brass saw

    Hi Paul,

    I came across this Copper , Brass saw
    for cutting salt. Maybe it was for this purpose?

    That may be the best possibility yet. It was always difficult to imagine a material that could be cut by a soft, non-ferrous metal. Copper tends to be harder than brass.

    There is no way of knowing how the original teeth were so best yet for sure. Also nobody else managed documented proof of use.
