Default Carpenters Pincers: Anyone recognise maker?

    Hi there,
I have been trying to track down the history of these two pair of Carpenters Pincers in the following images.
They could be any where from 20-70+years old based on the other tools that were with them in Dad's toolbox.
As you will see from the pics, the only marking on one set is the word DIAMOND and a picture of a diamond. No country of origin, no model numbers. Nothing came up in my googling other than the American Equine tool manufacturer, I'm reliably informed these are not one of their tools.
The other pair of pincers is marked Ahrem's Goodline. I have googled these and found that they are a German company that makes pliers etc, but not a lot of other info was around (that I found anyway )
Any feedback is welcome, hopefully someone out there is a collector who knows all about them.
    thanks

OK just read your post and see that you already know this.
Most of their stuff that I have seen is quite OK.
I think they were general hardware suppliers.
I have one of their try squares.
    Cheers

They are nail nippers . Farriers and carpenters use them .
I have used them in carpentry and in hoof care .

    What size are they ?

    just over 200mm long.

I've been told that most of the farriers tools similar (ie hoof trimmers) are quite a bit longer and have a flatter face on top of the pincer face.

Ahrems Goodline are good, but the diamond brand are a chinese set. They make/made a cheap version of most woodworking tools. I have in the past found rasps, chisels and a 51 sized spokeshave made by them- And from what I can tell they seem to be of pretty poor quality.
    Hope this helps

Hoof cutters and nail nippers are not the same tool .
One is for trimming hooves , and the other is for drawing (shoe) nails tight and nipping them off .
Hoof cutters are about twice as long/large as nippers.
One is a one handed tool , the other is a two handed tool.

As Eldanos says there is a Chinese diamond brand. There also was an American one but I don't know if they used that logo. Try looking for Cooper Group who are said to own the name now. I think they made farrier equipment.

Yeah , I figured that too Jim .
The ones that I used were top quality gear , and too old to have been cheap knockoffs with a ripoff name.

thanks for all the replies guys and gals
I knew someone out there must have a tool with the same markings and that pic Eldanos put up is pretty damn close.
Looks like my mystery tool is from the masters of mass production. so unless everyone else has thrown theirs out, mine will be far from rare and worth s.f.a!
So the Ahrem's goodline are a decent tool then, good to know.
Hopefully whoever buys them eventually will enjoy the bonus Diamond
